Dill-Ranch Oyster Crackers (a simple piece of my childhood)
These Dill-Ranch Oyster Crackers bring back so many memories of my childhood at my grandma’s house especially at Christmas time. It’s funny that I don’t remember much of my childhood until something like this snack pops up. Each Christmas, Grandma would have a bowl of these at each table in her garage in a Christmas tin. These along with the Chex Mix would be eaten up by the huge family.
The Dill-Ranch Oyster Crackers snack may not have taken long to make but that doesn’t mean they weren’t good. My grandma passed away this past August so I made these in her memory..as I hope you do the same with your family. My girl had a special bond with her great-grandma so I was so happy to include her in this snack that took zero time to make. We looked at pictures, I cried, she giggled and then we tried the crackers. She needed her own bowl.
I added the 5 ingredients to the bowl and whisked together. I placed the mixture on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and put in the oven.
And this is the awesomeness I pulled out of the oven. The house smells wonderful and my heart is full.
