French Dipped Sandwiches with Pressure Cooker

2

I have had French Dipped Sandwiches often and they  have always been good but when I made these in my Instant Pot they were AMAZING. The meat was so tender and juicy that is was a win. Soggy bread has always been a negative for me but for some reason this juice was so good that I just had to dip it.  My husband, on the other hand, felt it was so good that it didn’t need to be dipped. You choose which one you’d like to do of course.

This was a simple recipe to make that gives the good ole roast a little jump in taste (if that’s even needed).

  1. Add beef broth, onion soup mix, garlic powder and rosemary to Instant Pot and stir to combine.
  2. Add in beef roast and place lid on Instant Pot and lock and seal the lid.
  3. Click manual and high pressure for 45 minutes. When timer goes off, allow for the pot to naturally release some of it's pressure (don't vent until after 10-15 minutes)
  4. After the 10-15 minutes, release any additional pressure in the pot and open. Take out the meat and shred.
  5. Place meat on sub rolls and top with cheese. Melt under broiler for 2-3 minutes or until it's reached your melt consistency.
  6. Strain juice and serve in small cups for dipping.
