  1. Begin by placing skillet on medium heat. Once hot add pork sausage and break with spatula or something like a mix ‘n chop (Pampered Chef). Allow pork to brown until fully cooked.
  2. Right to the pan with grease (if more than 3 TBS, remove excess) and sausage, add in flour and whisk together to make a roux. Cook for 2 minutes to get rid of raw flour taste.
  3. Slowly stir in milk whisking the entire time. Allow for the gravy to thicken with sausage. You may need to add more milk depending on the thickness you desire.
  4. Season with salt, pepper and paprika and bubble for another minute. After adding the amounts, taste to make sure it has the desired taste you’d like. If not, add more salt and pepper and taste again.
  5. Serve over waffles.
