This Three Bean Casserole is made in the slow cooker is one my favorite summer dishes. I seem to make this a lot when we make burgers or hot dogs on the grill. I also make this for when we go to cookouts because it’s always a crowd pleaser and with minimal work can make enough for a big crowd.
In a large skillet, brown ground beef, green pepper, onions and garlic. When the ground beef is done, and the vegetables have started to get tender, add to the slow cooker.
I forgot to take a picture of my bacon, but either cook in skillet once the meat comes out or bake in oven. You will need about 5-6 pieces for this recipe.
Add in your beans. I added in navy beans, kidney beans and baked beans.
Then add in your seasonings. These include brown sugar, mustard, ketchup and vinegar.
