My girl and I made a vanilla berry smoothie yesterday. And while the outcome of the smoothie was delicious, the whole procedure was kind of a DISASTER. She has been sick for about a week and I didn’t allow her to be in the kitchen to help. Today she was acting and feeling better (and got good news from the Dr) so she got to join me again. Yay! 🙂
I’ll spare you the milk all over the kitchen floor picture. My sister got that one. She gets almost all my “life just didn’t work out today pictures”. So onto the smoothie. It’s Valentine’s Day so all things pink happened today.
For the smoothie I used unsweetened vanilla almond milk but by all means, use what you have. If you’re using regular and would like a vanilla hint, add 1/2 tsp vanilla extract. I then use frozen raspberries and strawberries, vanilla yogurt, ice and agave nectar (honey would work well too).
