Ingredients

yellow cornmeal

cup
all-purpose flour

baking powder

salt

milk
2% or whole milk works best

eggs

stick
butter
melted
1/4

honey

cup
corn
frozen or canned (if canned, drain corn)

cooked, chopped bacon

shredded cheddar cheese

chopped green onions
1/4

mild chiles
Instructions
Preheat oven to 385°F and bake 4-5 pieces of thick cut bacon for 10 min. After 10 min rotate pan and bake additional 10 min.
While bacon is in oven, mix together cornmeal, flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt in one bowl.
In another bowl, mix together milk, eggs, honey, and butter.
Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients.
Once all mixed together, add to bowl corn, crumbled bacon, cheddar cheese, green onion, and mild chiles.
Spoon into greased brownie pan (or loaf pans).
Bake for 24-28 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
