Baked Sweet Ham & Swiss Sliders

I’m sure this recipe isn’t new to many of you but I have been making these little baked sweet ham and Swiss sliders for years now and they have always been a hit at family parties. Heck they are a big hit when I make them just for my little family. This recipe is so simple that you can make a single batch or double or triple and you still won’t be spending hours in the kitchen.

You really can choose which rolls you’d like to use here.  I have always used the Hawaiian rolls.  If you can’t find those, a substitute will still make these delicious. I just prefer Hawaiian.

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. If rolls are not cut, cut in half and place the bottoms on a baking sheet. Place a piece of ham and cheese on each bottom and place roll top in each piece of cheese.
  3. In a sauce pan, mix together butter, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder and poppy seeds. Brush over rolls.
  4. Cover the sandwiches with foil and bake for 10 minutes. When time is up, remove the foil and bake uncovered for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Best when served warm but are excellent reheated in oven as well.
