Last night for dinner the hubs and I made a simple yet delicious dinner. I had chicken thighs and asparagus in the fridge and knew it needed to get used. So there, we had honey garlic chicken thighs. They were easy to make and even better to eat.
This time around I did use my Instant Pot (sorry, I truly am a pot head) but I used the slow cooker feature. If you haven’t jumped into the Instant Pot world yet, grab that slow cooker and follow along.

Ingredients
- 6 skinless, boneless chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/3 cup honey
- 3-4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tsp dried basil

Instructions
- Place chicken thighs into the bottom of your Instant Pot or slow cooker.
- Whisk together soy sauce, ketchup, honey, garlic, and basil and pour over chicken.
- Put lid on pot and cook on low for 6 hrs.
- When done, if you didn't achieve your color that you'd like, put under broiler for 3-5 minutes.
