Crockpot Hot Chocolate Recipe

1

This weekend we were celebrating a birthday party so I had the new (almost) 3 year old give me some help making crockpot hot chocolate for the party. My family makes this at parties because the kids LOVE it (and adults too).  Who wouldn’t? It’s rich and delicious and if you choose to add homemade whipped topping, you’re going to take a boxed hot chocolate to the next level.

All you need for this is a 2-3 hours on low in the crockpot with milk, heavy whipping cream, vanilla, sweetened condensed milk and milk chocolate chips.  If you’ve never given Ghirardelli Chocolate Chips a try then definitely give them a go in this recipe.  I don’t even allow any other brand to enter my kitchen anymore. I’ve become spoiled.
